Young boys playing on the banks of the Nile river in Uganda. Christmas 2008.

In the weeks leading up to the Christmas holidays I was commissioned to work on a research project with the brief to follow the life journey made by Indian adventurer and philanthropist Nanji Kaildas Mehta. A journey that for me, started in Mumbai and ended in Kampala, Uganda. A unique and memorable journey. The project was commissioned by the Mehta family and I worked with Based Upon who are creating an artwork which is destined for the Mehta family private collection.
